Chris Gorman (Female – aged 25-55) – Tense publishing lawyer trying to kick the cigarette habit; a bundle of nerves gamely trying to cope with the ever increasing stress of the situation with wisecracks, lying, and alcohol.

Ken Gorman (Male – aged 25-55) – A lawyer fiercely protective of his client and friend, Charley; his early arrival with wife Chris puts him at the heart of the frantic attempts to control the situation.

Claire Ganz (Female – aged 25-55) – Lenny’s high-society, acid-tongues wife who seems to be in on the latest rumors; does her level best to keep up with the events as they unfold.

Lenny Ganz (Male – aged 25-55) – A short-tempered accountant with a whiplash injury; the poor, put-upon guy just isn’t having a good day, even before the party starts.

Cookie Cuzack (Female – aged 25-55) – A loopy, yet amiable, TV cooking show hostess who’s having major back spasms; very quirky and often the last to grasp what is going on.

Ernie Cuzack (Male – aged 25-55) A laid-back and clueless psychologist, comfortable with his own skin.

Cassie Cooper (Female – aged 25-55) – A high-maintenance trophy wife, vain and insecure, convinced her husband is having at least one affair.

Glenn Cooper (Male – aged 25-55) – A self-protective, somewhat exasperated man who is aspiring to be state senator.

Officer Welch (Male/Female – aged 25-55) – No-nonsense and not easily tricked police officer who has seen and heard it all.

Officer Pudney (Male/Female – aged 25-55) – Officer Welch’s junior partner – somewhat of a Barney Fife mentality.
